My Story

I grew up exploring the river valley around my home in Edmonton, Alberta.  Summers spent traveling across Canada learning to camp, hike, fish and take photos with my family, served to deepen my fascination with the natural world. When not outdoors, I spent my time drawing, reading, dancing or simply creating.

My passion for nature, led me to complete a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Education at the FacultΓ© St-Jean of the University of Alberta. While my studies pulled me away from the arts, they gave me a deeper appreciation of the beauty and fragility of the natural world.

While I never stopped using my creativity, it took having children to help me reconnect fully with that artist inside and bring together two of my greatest loves: Art and Nature.

I now work in my home studio in South East Edmonton, creating vivid, contemporary watercolour pieces inspired by plants, wildlife and landscapes that I have encountered.
